Cassandra Chaney is the Visionary and Senior Clinical Social Worker for BYKOTA Wellness LLC. B.Y.K.O.T.A = Be Ye Kind One to Another, originates from the biblical text of Ephesians. Cassandra has a revelation that if people are kind to one another, the mental health of persons in this world will be better socially and emotionally. 

Practicing in the social work field for nearly two decades, Cassandra is  Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW-C), for the state of Maryland and a Licensed Master’s Social Worker for the state of  New York. Cassandra obtained a Bachelor’s degree in political science at Pace University in 2001. She is also a 2006 graduate of Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work, where she received her Master’s Degree in social work. 

Clinically, Cassandra has worked in a range of non-profits that serviced individuals that are dealing with one or more issues in their lives, which includes, but is not limited to, HIV+/AIDS, homelessness, alcohol and substance abuse/addiction.
Other areas of expertise include serving individuals who are struggling with gambling, pornography, and sexual addictions. She has had proven success working with clients who have been diagnosed with Clinical Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, ADD and various phobias. Cassandra uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Reframing as successful treatment modalities in practice.
